We are looking for a highly motivated, independent, detail-oriented doer, with a strong analytical mindset, someone that isn’t shy of processing loads of data but also knows how to communicate smoothly with people all over our European team, adapting your style to different levels in the organization - from direct colleagues to members of the European Leadership Team.
With your strong financial insights, you know how to analyze complex data rules and coordinate the process by liaising with people from a lot of different nationalities. You are also able to analyze (pricing) data and come up with proposals to improve our pricing strategy.
This role as Pricing and Deal Desk Analyst involves a lot of both: communicating with stakeholders from different areas in Diversey, as well as working with a lot of data to make the right recommendations.
In this role, you will be working closely with the pricing director of Europe to improve our pricing approach, as well as with the Deal Desk team, which supports the sales teams in Europe. Together, you are responsible for analyzing our data and finding ways how we can even do a better job in this field. Our goal: have the right prices and margins in all our product portfolios in Europe and continue to improve on our pricing strategy. This will help to accelerate our company’s growth and maintain our solid position in the market. The Pricing and Deal Desk is a centralized team, based out of our European Headquarter in Utrecht.

This job…
You’re responsible for processing deals submitted for approval by 21 European Sales organizations of Diversey. To do this, you get access to dedicated profitability analysis tools, metrics, and information objects. You will need this information to work with the relevant decision makers within the organization for approval (or rejection) or certain proposals. Therefore, saying “no” is also part of your job. In addition to this, you are responsible for analyzing and initiating process improvements and thinking somewhat outside of the box when it comes to determining the profitability and pricing of the deals you are working on.

In addition, you are together with the pricing director responsible for enhancing our pricing approach. This means that you will partner with the European Commercial Excellence team and country leaders to implement and monitor pricing actions and build and maintain analytical models to conduct core pricing analytics. On a monthly basis, you will consolidate the price impact on a country- and European level.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement Diversey’s pricing strategy and monitor pricing actions
  • Build and maintain analytical models to conduct core pricing analytics

  • Engage with end users from sales to find ways to streamline the processes and tools
  • Liaise with customer service and back-office to ensure approved pricing is correctly reflected in our SAP conditions.

The ideal colleague…

You are dealing with people on all levels in the organization and need to be able to convey information the right way. Then, on top of this, you have this continuous improvement mindset. You will be working with colleagues from sales, marketing, supply chain, finance/pricing and for example – the customer service.

We strive to move from a more transactional mode to an analytical mode, becoming a true business partner to our sales and marketing teams, hence, dealing with changing processes is important and on top of that – we expect you to help by proposing ways to improve our processes.

Requirements:
